Design Optimisation
We optimise beam dynamics design for charged particle optics lattices, including storage rings, beamlines, achromats and electron microscopes. Our approach combines:
- Differential-algebraic transfer maps at customised computational orders using COSY INFINITY
- Alternative simulation codes such as BMAD or G4beamline to match specific project requirements
- Electromagnetic field modelling from generic element representations to specialised models and precise field maps
- Advanced optimisation strategies combining local fitting algorithms with evolutionary, Bayesian and other quasi-global methods
